TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE & ENTRY This ticket is sold or provided on the express condition that the holder (“Ticketholder”/“Patron”) is bound by the rules & regulations issued by A.P.E Event(s)s Pty Ltd (“the Organizer”).

Ticketholders agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions contained herein and on the 1Dance Africa (“1DA”) website. This ticket permits entry to the 1DA concerts (“Event(s)s) at Hordern Pavilion (Sydney) and Festival Hall (Melbourne) (“the Venue(s)s”), on Fri 11 October and Sat 12 October.

This ticket does not permit entry to the Official Afterparties unless the Ticketholder also purchases a an Afterparty Ticket or this ticket is a VIP Ticket.

Event(s) Operational Times: 6pm – 11pm.

  1. Ticketholders MUST show valid Photo ID at the Event(s) entrance bearing the same name and date of birth details as those printed on their Event(s) Ticket.
  2. Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  3. It is a condition of purchase that the Ticketholder consents to the Organiser collecting and retaining their personal information. The Organiser will hold your information as required by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and for contacting you in relation to ticketing matters and Event(s) information. The Organiser will not trade or sell your personal information.
  4. No refunds on tickets except as required by law &/or specified by the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice. Incorrect purchases DO NOT qualify for a refund or exchange.
  5. The Organiser reserves the right to enforce published ticket purchase limits and cancel any tickets obtained above said limits by any one customer.
  6. If you are removed from the Venue(s) or the Event(s) and/or denied entry to the Venue(s) or the Event(s), you will not be entitled to any ticket refund in part or in full and/or compensation.
  7. Do not share your ticket barcode with anyone else or you may be denied entry. The Organiser reserves the right to deny admission to the holder of any ticket that appears to have been tampered with, counterfeited or duplicated.
  8. Your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband that you MUST keep on for the duration of the Event(s). Lost, damaged or stolen wristbands will not be replaced.
  9. Anyone entering the Venue(s), or found onsite at the Event(s) without a valid wristband, will be deemed to have trespassed, removed from the Venue(s), and will be handed over to the Police. Maximum penalties apply.
  10. Ticketholders aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by a responsible parent and/or adult guardian holding a valid Event(s) ticket when entering the Event(s) and at all times whilst at the Event(s). We strongly recommend this parent and/or adult guardian is aged 25 years or older.
  11. Ticketholders aged 15 years and under not accompanied by a responsible parent and/or adult guardian holding a valid Event(s) ticket will be denied entry into the Event(s) or removed from the Venue(s).
  12. We strongly recommend that persons aged 16 and 17 years old are accompanied by a responsible parent and/or adult guardian aged 25 years or older.
  13. For the avoidance of doubt, all persons aged 15 years and under must be accompanied by a responsible parent and/or adult guardian holding a valid Event(s) ticket when entering the Event(s) and at all times whilst at the Event(s).
  14. All minors, their parent and/or adult guardian must abide by the Event(s)’s Licensing requirements which prohibit minors from being anywhere in the Event(s) other than the designated licensing areas.
  15. The Venue(s)s are licensed. Patrons wishing to purchase and/or consume alcohol must be over 18 years of age and have valid photographic ID. Anyone found supplying or buying alcohol for a minor will be evicted from the Event(s) & may face criminal charges. Any minor found consuming or in possession of alcohol will face similar action.
  16. Alcohol cannot be brought into the Venue(s)s. Any alcohol brought into the Venue(s) will be confiscated and will not be returned. The Organiser reserves the right to take appropriate action in such circumstances.
  17. Bags, containers and other personal items will be searched at the entry to the Venue(s) to check for any banned items. The No Large Bag policy will be enforced in the Event(s) area. Banned items include (but are not limited to) glass, alcohol, weapons, umbrellas, selfie sticks, video cameras (including GoPros), and drones.
  18. Protest and political paraphernalia and banners are not allowed in the Event(s) or at the Venue(s)s. Clothing, jewellery or accessory displaying the name of any motorcycle related or similar organisations or any ‘declared organisation’ within the meaning of the Crimes (Criminal Organisation Control) Act 2009 is not permitted in the Event(s) or at the Venue(s)s. The Organiser reserves the right to remove any person in possession of or displaying these items, or any item which is deemed racist, vilifying, sexist and/or offensive.
  19. Empty plastic/reusable bottles may be brought into the Event(s) precinct for refilling from water stations.
  20. Fireworks, flares and the lighting of fires are prohibited.
  21. Animals are prohibited at the Venue(s)s, with the exception of service or assistance animals, such as Guide Dogs.
  22. Footwear must be worn at all times throughout the Event(s) sites.
  23. Phones are permitted but professional audio or video recording devices, including GoPros, and professional still cameras are prohibited. Ticketholders are not permitted to record the Event(s) (audio or video) for commercial purposes.
  24. All Ticketholders consent to be included in any official photography, filming & sound recording by the Organiser and/or any of its authorised representatives and contractors and grant the Organiser the right to use such recordings for promotion and other purposes.
  25. Possession, sale or use of illegal drugs or illicit substances is strictly prohibited at the Venue(s) and the Event(s). Any persons found with illegal drugs or illicit substances in their possession may be removed from the Venue(s) and subject to Police action.
  26. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse a Ticketholder admission to the Venue(s) and the Event(s)(s) and/or to evict any person from the Venue(s)(s) and the Event(s) if they are affected by alcohol or drugs, or act in contravention of any of these Terms and Conditions.
  27. Activities such as moshing, crowd surfing, climbing and stage diving are strictly prohibited. Patrons engaging in these or other dangerous activities will be removed from the Venue(s)(s), and patrons accept all risk and liability for any injuries or damages caused by these activities. Entry to the Venue(s)(s) is at the Ticketholder’s own risk.
  28. The Organiser recommends that due to noise levels, ear plugs should be carried/worn by patrons. Offensive language may be used by some performers and artists. Special effects and strobe lighting may be used at the Event(s)(s).
  29. Ticketholder acknowledges that there may be restricted capacities at some of the Event(s)’s stages or Venue(s)s, and ticket purchase does not guarantee entry to these areas in such circumstances. Once it is determined by the Organiser (at its sole discretion) that the maximum capacity has been reached in these areas, there will be no further admissions.
  30. Patrons must not cause damage to, improperly use, or tamper with any Venue(s) facility or Event(s) infrastructure, or cause any damage to flora and fauna on or surrounding the Venue(s) or enter any onsite bodies of water at the Venue(s). Patrons must not remove or attempt to remove any item or object from the Venue(s) or surrounding area. Patrons accept full liability and responsibility for any loss or damage caused in contravention of this clause or any other term of these Terms and Conditions.
  31. Patrons may be removed from the Venue(s) if, in the opinion of the Organiser, they behave or act in a threatening or inappropriate manner, including without limitation, any aggressive, riotous, abusive, offensive, racist, sexist or insulting actions towards other patrons, Event(s) staff or any other persons at the Venue(s) or the Event(s). Patrons are required to follow the reasonable directions of the Organiser and Event(s) staff at all times.
  32. The Organiser reserves the right to vary the Event(s) program and/or to add, withdraw or substitute artists. No ticket refunds or compensation will be made in such circumstances, or if the Event(s) program varies due to the non-appearance of an advertised artist. The Event(s) will take place rain, hail or shine.
  33. Tickets may not be resold, unless via the official ticket resale facility should one be made available by the Organiser, or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a ticket is sold or used in breach of this condition, the bearer of the ticket will be refused admission to the Venue(s) and the Organiser may take further legal action against any parties that have breached this condition.
  34. Except where liability cannot be excluded by law, the Organiser (and its employees, contractors and agents) shall not be liable for any loss, cost, expense, injury, claim or damages suffered or sustained by any Ticketholders and patrons at the Venue(s) or the Event(s). Where permitted under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), the Organiser limits its liability in respect of breach of any statutory guarantee under the ACL in the manner set out in sections 64A(1)(a) and 64A(2)(a) of the ACL.
  35. To the full extent permitted by law, Ticketholders waive all legal rights of action against and fully release the Organiser, its agents, employees and volunteers for all claims for compensation for loss, damage, injury or death howsoever arising out of or in relation to the Ticketholder’s entry to and presence at the Venue(s) and their attendance at the Event(s).
  36. Ticketholders must use designated walkways and paths at all times whilst at the Event(s) and the Venue(s) and follow any Event(s) or Venue(s) directions or signage.
  37. In the Event(s) of injury or illness the Organiser may, at the cost of the Ticketholder, arrange medical treatment and/or emergency evacuation as deemed essential for the safety of the Ticketholder.
  38. Any provision of these Terms and Conditions which are or becomes unenforceable shall not invalidate the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions.

Conditions of Sale

  1. Tickets are sold for and on behalf of 1Dance Africa and A.P.E Events P/L; Tickets are subject to 1DA & A.P.E conditions of sale and to the requirements of the venue(s) at which the event(s) are presented.
  2. The right of admission is reserved.
  3. The right is reserved to vary, substitute or withdraw advertised programs, artists, and seating arrangements.
  4. No refunds or exchanges except as in Entertainment Industry Consumer Code.
  5. Subscription tickets may be exchanged; such exchanges are subject to availability and will be performed in accordance with the current terms specified by the subscription exchange service.
  6. Cameras and other recording devices are prohibited in the venue’s auditorium. Mobile telephones, pagers and so forth must be turned off before entry into the venue’s auditorium.
  7. 1Dance Africa reserves the right to record, broadcast and simulcast any performances.
  8. This ticket is valid only when purchased from 1DA, A.P.E or an authorized agent.
  9. Tickets may not, without the prior written consent of 1DA or A.P.E, be resold or offered for resale contrary to applicable laws (including via online auction sites or resale agents) either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If the ticket is sold or offered for resale in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without notice, without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.
  10. Performances may be unsuitable for children under eight years of age. All patrons, irrespective of age, must hold a valid ticket.
  11. Patrons arriving late will not be admitted into the venue’s auditorium unless there is a suitable break in the performance. Patrons who disrupt a performance may be ejected from the venue.

 

VIP TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please note ‘1Dance Africa VIP’ package purchasers will be contacted by respective ticketing outlets (Ticketmaster – Melbourne OR Ticketek – Sydney) via e-mail a few days prior to the Event(s) date with additional program details and merchandise collection details.

All other package purchasers will also be contacted by respective ticketing outlets (Ticketmaster – Melbourne OR Ticketek – Sydney) a few days prior to the Event(s) regarding merchandise collection details.

VIP merchandise will be distributed at the show, some exceptions may apply.

All sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges under any circumstances.

All packages and package contents (including Event(s) tickets) are non-transferable.

Information provided at the time of purchase (name, address, e-mail, etc.) is the same information that will be utilised for individual contact requirements as applicable.

The artist, tour, promoter, ticketing company, Venue(s) or any other affiliated parties are not responsible for outdated or inaccurate information provided by the consumer at the time of purchase.

VIP laminates are specifically for entry into the designated VIP areas for each Event(s) and official afterparty and afterparty VIP area .

The VIP laminate does not gain or authorize access into other parts of the Venue(s) or any backstage areas.
